The company
History
Former ROH booker Gabe Sapolsky and Sal Hamaoui launched Evolve in 2010 as part of their WWNLive network. It emphasized win-loss records and pure wrestling, became a feeder for NXT, and helped launch Johnny Gargano, Keith Lee and Matt Riddle; Drew McIntyre rebuilt his career there as Drew Galloway. WWE bought Evolve in 2020 and brought the name back as a WWE program in 2025.
