The scale
How we rate
Every match is rated on a five-star scale, the system Dave Meltzer made famous in the Wrestling Observer, but ours is precise to a hundredth of a star, so a 4.89 and a 4.97 can say different things. Five stars is the ceiling here. When Meltzer goes past it (Omega vs. Okada went to six, then seven), we show his rating as he gave it, next to ours.
